Winter afar and grasses swaying, Wild tufts verdant, their deep roots hinged,
The fields now violently fraying
The rebellious revolt of wind
Puffs of white now grey, The petrichor I cannot rescind
There will be no whey
This Summer.
The burst louder than the screams
The monsoon more pervasive than it seems
Floods of water
Floods of fear
Floods of blood
Floods so dear
Respite from dry decay
Stomachs envisioned empty
It took my house away
Will my crops be aplenty?
